BIRD & BEASTIE SERIES
When I decided that I was going to re-learn how to make my own artwork, I decided that they had to be totally me. That I couldn't make anything that was trying to be like anyone else. I started with one picture, in which I tried to encapsulate my passions and energy. Having completed that picture I imagined, what would happen next and this resulted in a series of images about transformation and aspiration.
These images formed part of a calendar which I produced for 2008. They were designed in pen and then coloured.
